I think maybe I need to get a helmet for Jack, since he's often hanging around me. I guess a better idea would be to not handle breakable objects when he's near.

Man, this is kind of scary.
Well, just so long as you are not holding anything glass near Jack, also, make sure he is wearing shoes just in case all of the glass pieces are not picked up. You don't want to poor guy walking on, walking on broken glass.
You are right though, you were clumsy anyway. Remember the music water globe that the Richards got ya? OUCH!!
