"You were half, now you're whole."

Jeremy returned on Friday from his three week absence. He was in Duncan Oklahoma, and it was no fun! I'm only just now posting this because I'm so used to people seeing my pictures on Flickr, that I rarely think to put them on here. Anyhow, it was so great when Jack saw Jeremy at the airport. I put Jack down on the ground and he started running towards Jeremy whilst laughing and smiling. I'm thinking Jeremy probably didn't mind that welcome.

Oh, brother.

This commercial for Kissimmee came on TV the other day, and Jack started cracking up. I was filming Jack watching the commercial today and Aubrey decided that she also thought it was funny...

and cuteness abounds.

Water, water... where?

Is there a bird that looks like a seagull, sounds like a seagull, but isn't a seagull? If not, there are some very sad and confused seagulls in Casper. It's really depressing on two fronts-- one, you hear these seagulls and it reminds you of the beach, but you realize "oh, I'm in Wyoming"; second, these poor birds! They just fly around parking lots, probably wondering "where the heck is all the water?" Maybe I'll go out there with some fish and a kiddy pool. Now that's a good way to get killed.

We are not amused!

(Ok, we are completely amused.)

Jack is now tall enough to reach things that are on the kitchen counter and he can even more easily reach things from our kitchen table. Like last night... when he picked up my cup of COLD water... and carried it all the way over to where I was laying on the couch... and poured it on me.

He did it so quickly that I couldn't stop him. I only had time to realize "whoa, he's got my cup" before he lovingly tried to give me a drink. It's actually quite impressive that he picked up the cup from the table, and walked that far without even spilling it. After I recovered from gasping, I joined Jeremy in cracking up. We always try not to laugh when Jack does something "wrong" (because sometimes it's pretty funny) but, hey-- we're only human.
