Emotionally edited

You already know this, but I'll type it anyway so this post can have a little focus.

We're moving. To Colorado. Jeremy got a job there and starts on June 1st. This week will be extremely crazy, so I wanted to take a moment to blog in case I can't before we leave.

Jack is crawling around like crazy. He has learned how to pull himself up into standing position.

This means it's gotten really hard to get him to go to sleep, because he'll just stand in his crib crying. It's really sad. Last night and today he fell asleep in this position when he finally gave up:

I guess all the video will have to wait because I just don't have time to post it.

I will leave you with a few pictures.

Jack from our trip to Crystal Beach:

(this picture reminded me of an album cover really badly, but I couldn't think which one. Fortunately Jeremy knew what I was talking about.)

Here's our first family picture since right after Jack was born:

Andrea and Aubrey are visiting us now. Here are some pretty cute pictures of the two cousins beating each other up:

That's all for now. There's a lot to be said about the moving situation, but I'm not much on emotional blogging.

So excuse me while I kiss the sky.

Looks just like me

Because of a certain bossy reader, I have decided to post a video.

The other day we were at Kick's-- and he has one of those mirror sliding door closets in his apartment and Jack was having a lot of fun looking at himself in the mirror . We wanted to get Jack to reenact this, but he was much too interested in the camera. Observe.

Beware the lethal Jack bite

Ok, so maybe not "lethal", but definitely painful. Here's a picture of Jack about to take a bite outta his dad's leg. The bad thing about him having so many teeth at such an early age is that he doesn't yet understand "no!" Anyhow, it's pretty terrifying, so watch out.

Today Jack is 7 months old! And to mark his 7 month mark, he started pulling himself up onto his knees if he's in his bed or something. If you hold your hand out he can grab it and pull himself up into a standing position. It's neat watching him grow up and learn how to do things. He seems to get really excited when he learns new things... and who could blame him? I'm sure it was annoying not being able to move around-- now he's able to go places and climb over things. Pretty neat.

Well, Jack is about to go to the beach for the first time, so stay tuned for some really sweet pictures.

Jack bleeds Cardinal red.

I don't know about this, Daddy.

Jack got all decked out in his Cardinals outfit, only to be told he couldn't go with his daddy and PopPop to the game.

Where are my floaties?

Jack dons his fancy new swim trunks that were purchased for his first trip to the beach.

Thanks to Bryan and Andrea, you can now enjoy pictures like this on a regular basis. They gave me a digital camera, so I'll be throwing more pictures of Jack at you than you could have ever wanted. And let us not forget Andrew, who supplied the USB cable.

Thank you all. You've truly made this world a better place.
